Play auditions (part 2)

On Friday, December 13, I had auditions for a play. I think my audition went well. For the audition, we had to say a monologue and sing a short song. I recited the prologue from beauty and the beast, and sang part of be prepared. My director said I'm probably going to be the mad hatter.

Christmas Concert

A few days ago was my school's Christmas concert. I did a lot of things, like sing in the choir, play bells, play my oboe, and I was one of the narrators in the play. I got to play an oboe solo on Joy to the World. it was going to be a duet, but the other person said they didn't want to. I also sang Twas' in the moon of wintertime for one of the prelude songs. Overall it went well, even though someone broke their wrist a few hours before.

Play Autitions

Earlier this week, my mom announced that my school is doing Alice in Wonderland for the spring musical. She said that anyone can audition, and I am going to audition. I picked two parts that I want-the mad hatter and the Cheshire cat. I think that both of them kind of fit my personality. I'd prefer to be the Cheshire cat. Camp Widjiwagan

Today I am going to go to Camp Widjiwagan with my classmates. Camp Widjiwagan is a camp that is close to the boundary waters. I am staying there the entire week and doing things with my classmates. I am going to be able to hike and maybe canoe, and do other outdoor things. On the way up to camp I am going to stop at Dairy Queen for lunch, and on the way back I am stopping at Little Caesars to get pizza. I hope to have an amazing time!

Camp Omega Cross Country

Last weekend I did cross country at Camp Omega. I ran 2 miles over large hills and muddy paths. It was extremely fun. I got 9th place. I might have run it in under 20 minutes, but no one told me my time. After that, my coach gave me some m&m's & a Gatorade.

Feed My Starving Children

On Saturday I had my birthday party at Feed My Starving Children. The entire group packed 101 boxes. We packed for about an hour and a half. I got a free t-shirt because it was my birthday. I also got to try some of the food. It tasted really good. I'm going back for my birthday next year.

B-day in 3 days

My Birthday is in three days! My mom says I don't have to have homeschool homework on my birthday. Every year on my birthday I get to stay up until 10:47. This year I will be 12! I am excited about my birthday because I get to go out to eat where I want. Next time I write on this blog, I will be 12! I am going to the Renaissance festival with my friend on Friday!

Feline Mask

I am working on a cat mask for art this week. It is a black cat with one green and one blue eye. I want to wear it for Halloween if I can. I already finished with the foam base, and am working on the fur. When it is finished, I will upload a picture onto my blog. Making the mask is very messy. There is a lot of fur on the ground and pieces of foam everywhere. I'm over halfway done.

Sleepover

I was at a sleepover last week at my friend Sylvia's house. I hadn't seen her in a while. We played a few games and watched videos together for a while. Sylvia is getting a new kitten! I think that her cat Onyx is going to like the new kitten, but I might be wrong. After that, I had my first skating lesson of the season at the Oval in Roseville.

Cross Country

I'm doing cross country for my school again this year. This time I have to run two miles instead of one. I run every Monday/Wednesday/Friday. Monday and Wednesday are practices, and most Fridays there is a race. That's all for now, and hope you have a great day!

First week of school

Today was my first week of 7th grade. I am still doing half-time home school. The subjects that I have at school are band, bells, science, choir, German, and art. My favorite subject is art. Art app : Ibis Paint x

Ibis Paint X is a free drawing app. It is very easy to use, and can produce amazing works of art. There are many brushes to choose from, and infinite colors. One of my favorite things on the app is the line stabilizer, which draws smoother lines, and makes your art look better. I use it to keep my digital art from looking like trash. I think it is really easy and fun to use. I would definitely recommend it.

Apollo 11

Happy 50th anniversary of Apollo 11! Last weekend I went to see one of the last film shows at the science museum before they switch to digital. I got to take a free piece of film home afterwards.  The movie was about the Apollo 11 mission. After that, I went to the Leonardo Da Vinci exhibit, which had a lot of copies of his inventions, like his flying machine. I liked it a lot. Bye for now!

Camp Omega

Last weekend I went to Camp Omega, a christian camp in Waterville. I did a lot of things there, like hatchet throwing and canoeing. My favorite thing was swimming. The first night, there was a bad storm and my entire cabin stayed up until around 2:00 in the morning. The second night, I twisted my ankle and got to ride in a trailer back to camp. After that, I got to sleep in a hammock. I liked camp a lot, and am going back next year.

Staying at my grandma's house

Last monday, i went to my grandma's house. We watched movies and did a puzzle together. We went swimming and went to the library together as well. I got back yesterday evening.

Germany part 4 : Kiara

Day 1: I am so excited to see Kiara! Today we went to Basteibrücke, and walked around there. It was very pretty, and I got to climb rocks around that area. We are staying at the four lions hostel.

Day 2 : Today we went to Konigstein fortress. Kiara and I went ahead to play for a little bit.

Day 3 : We walked a different trail to Basteibrücke. We also went to play at a little beach that Kiara found.

Day 4 : Kiara and I went to the woods by her house and built a fort. We stayed there nearly the entire day. We also saw a cat and called it Pumpkin Spice Latte.

Day 5 : We biked to a large park today. It had many ropes and bridges and a hamster wheel. We stayed there for a while and then we went back home. My friend and I went back to the fort and we saw that an area was roped off. Kiara went in and found an old object under a rock. She thought it was an old bomb. She called her dad who worked for the EOD. He said it might be. We also showed my parents a play that we made up.

Germany part 3 - Salzburg, München, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Nürnberg

Salzburg : We went to the Hohensalzburg fortress, where we saw the marionette museum. We didn't get to go far inside though. Then, my sister wanted to watch a trick bike competition. After that, we went to the Domgrabungs museum, and saw all the old church pieces that they excavated. After that, we saw Mirabell gardens, and we wandered around and found a playground. The last thing we did was Hellbrunn gardens, which was kind of pretty. There were a few fountains, and I found another playground.

München : In münchen, we first went to the Olympiastadion. I saw the eisarena, but it was closed and I didn't get to go inside. After that, we went to the Nymphenburg gardens. There were cool statues of greek gods and a huge fountain. After that, we wandered around a little behind the gardens. Then, we went to the old town, and watched the glockenspiel. The glockenspiel is really cool. Finally, we went to the English gardens. There were a few fountains, and a cool area on the river that people could surf on.

Garmisch-Partenkirchen : First, we took a cogwheel train up to Zugspitze. We got to climb a few rocks, and sled on a glacier. It got really foggy after that. We took a cable car up to zugspitze, but all we saw was fog and clouds. My family has bad luck with mountains and weather. After that, we went to Eibsee for a little bit, and stayed to watch the ducks by the bridge. Last, we went to Partnachklamm. It is a gorge where there is a natural tunnel near the river. I did not like that. It was too loud and cramped for me. Also, it kept dripping on me.

Nürnberg : Today, we went to Nürnberg and saw the old Nazi party grounds. We walked around the lake a little. After that, we walked around the old town a little, and saw someone playing a marimba. We also saw a living statue. I am currently on a train to Berlin to see my best friend. YAY!

Germany! Part 2 - Heidelberg, Rothenburg, Neuschwanstein

Heidelberg : We went to Heidelberg and saw the old town. We went up to a castle that was very old (and ruined). After that we saw a cathedral where the bones of the Three Wise Men were. We found free water (only one I have seen in Germany forever!)

Rothenburg : After Heidelberg, we went to Rothenburg. My family walked around the old town, and we walked around the old wall. After that, we found a park on the edge of the wall, and then we had to go back to the train station.

Neuschwanstein : After Rothenburg, we went to Neuschwanstein (Literally new swan stone) And got a tour. It was built in the 19th century, but was modeled after the middle ages (and a few operas.) There was a small room that looked like a cave, modeled after one of king Ludwig's favorite plays.
after that, My family went to the marienbrucke to go on a hike.

Germany Day 1 - Flight and Frankfurt

Yesterday I went to Germany. I did not like the plane ride because I had a cold. After I got there, I walked around Frankfurt. I saw a lot of old buildings and took a few pictures. I saw a cool playground, but my sister didn't want to play, so we couldn't stay there. My friend and I Skyped for a little bit before bed, and the I fell asleep.

camping trip

I went camping last weekend. When I was there, I went swimming. I went down to the lake every day. I liked it because I collected a lot of rocks. I also had a lot of tasty food, like s'mores, hot dogs,  & donuts. It rained for part of the day on Saturday. I got a book called 'mammals of Minnesota.' My sister got a harmonica. I saw a dead squirrel and 2 dead frogs, too.

I am writing a book

        I am writing a book. It is a Wings of Fire x Hunger games crossover. It is called the venom games. I am part way through the first part. I think it is cool. Anyway, that's all.

Last week of school

This week is my last week of school before summer break. I am so exited! That also means 1 week until I get a puppy! Everyone is exited for break. Only about a month until I get to go to Germany! Summer break is fun for me. I get to hang out too.

Getting ready for the new puppy!

    I am getting a golden retriever puppy on May 26. We already have a lot of things ready, like the crate and the food & water bowls. My dad showed me a video of the puppies playing, and they are so cute! I wanted to name the puppy we are getting 'Cinnamon', but my mom said no. I can't wait until we get the new puppy! It is a sister of my grandma's dogs.

Stuff

Sorry for the boring title. I really can't think of another name. This is about stuff I am doing/have done this week.

Monday : not much. I went to school.
Tuesday : Like Monday.

Thursday : My mom told me that I have to go to school the whole day on Friday
Friday : I went to school the whole day. I helped the school secretary out with some of her stuff. Then I played on my chromebook and did other stuff. After that I went to school.
Saturday : My mom told me that we might get a golden retriever puppy. I am exited for that.

My (possible) magical creatures

Akura : a leopard like creature with large black wings and glowing spots. They have glowing stripes on their wings too.
Kisari : a small, catlike creature that can come in nearly any color, except for pure white or black. They have small feelers on the tops of their heads, and dimly glowing eyes.
Arcane wolf : Large wolves with sharp fangs. They have thick fur and claws like knives. They have large paws and thick paw pads.

Random stuff I want to write about.

Sorry for the irregular update schedule. I have a lot to do. I feel like I have a lot to do all the time. I had a music festival this morning (and afternoon!). I like to do music.

I also feel like my blog is a little boring sometimes. I can make it more like This if you want. comment if you want to do that. sorry if you don't want it. I am strange like that.

I am really busy this week.

As the title says, I am really busy this week. I have a lot of things going on, including 1 music festival, 2 MAP tests, 3 rehearsals, and 1 field trip. For the music festival, I have to stay for the whole day. I have the MAP tests on 2 different days, and the rehearsals are Thursday and next Monday. The field trip is Thursday morning. YAY!

After Camp

At camp on Thursday, there was a huge snowstorm and we had to stay inside. On Friday when we left, one of the cars got stuck and we had to wait for about an hour. Also, someone got a flat tire. So, that was a little boring. We also went to Hardee's on the way back. After that I had a spelling bee in which I got 4th place

School Camp

This week I get to go to a camp with my class. It is 3 hours away. We get to stay for 2 nights and do a whole lot of fun things. We get to stay up past 11:00! I leave tomorrow. We have to pick up lunch on the way because we are driving for a long time. I can´t wait!

Back to school

Yesterday I was back to school again after spring break. Not much exiting happened. I played bells* and sang in choir and did my English. My mom said I have to finish ALL my homework for the whole week before I can play video games. This is already supposed to be Thursday's homework.

Spring break

I am on spring break this week. On Monday, I went to my mom's echo cardiogram. On Tuesday not much happened. I played Animal Jam and did homework. On Wednesday, I went to Lenten Church. Today I have skating and karate. Tomorrow I am going to go to the children's museum to see the new exhibit. One of my favorite places in the children's museum is the laser maze. I am good at the maze.

CWD

Hello. I am from CWD, an association my friend and I made. It is focused on cat world domination. We made it because we both love cats and my friend owns 2 cats. We made up ranks and an HQ and everything. We even made up a code where my name was 947471.

Why I like Animal Jam

Today I am going to be writing about why I like Animal Jam. There are many things to the game, and a lot of people working behind it.

1. The first reason I like animal jam is because of how much there is to do. It is unlikely that you will get bored within a few minutes. Over 1 million people play the game, so there is also social interaction with other human beings.
2. The second reason I like it is because it is educational. A lot of people will learn something about animals that they didn't know before.
3. The third reason is that you can customize everything about your character, from its eye shape to the accessories it wears.
4. The fourth reason is that there's something for everyone. If you prefer the dark side, there are phantom den items. If you are more natural, there are many plants that you can get for your den.
5. The fifth reason is that a lot of people roleplay, which is something I like doing. In sarepia forest, you can find two kinds of people : The 'normal' people, which stay in the upper area, and the role-players, which dominate the lower half.
6. The sixth reason is that there are many different environments with their own style, like coral canyons, which has a lot of rocks and a few small desert plants, along with life that would normally live in canyons.
7. The seventh and final reason is the color scheme. The color scheme is relatively neutral, with warm brown and pale blue dominating the scene. Each environment also has a color scheme of its own.

Basically animal jam alphas

Hi guys! Today I am going to be teaching you about the Animal Jam alphas *coughs* So first things first.

The Alphas! (the 'leaders' of Animal Jam.)

• Sir Gilbert : The 'leader' of the alphas, and very 'selfless'. (really kind of stuck up)
• Greely : A goth wolf that lives inside a volcano.
• Peck : An amazing artist that lives inside a giant crystal mine ( basically)
• Tavie : an alpha who nobody cares about because she lives underwater and no one goes underwater
• Liza : The actual leader of the alphas, and also basically an online parental figure for 2 million children.
• Cosmo : An old gardener
• Graham : An old engineer.

I am being weird here

I love cats and dogs and every other animal. I might get to do the zoo walk program at the Como Zoo. I like the Como Zoo. one of my favorite places is the big cat building. The cats are nice. The wolves are nice too. Bye, Natali

About my book series

       I am writing a book series called Destiny. I am writing the first book, Midnight. It is about 3 young cats: Raven, Silverheart, and Justice. They have completely different stories, but they all come together in the end. Raven is an outcast, Silverheart is a princess, and Justice is a guard.

Animal jam secrets and tips

Hello! I have been playing animal jam for a long time, and I want to share some of the secrets I have found. I will also be sharing tips to help.

Secrets

the Basement of secrets

1. The basement of secrets is hidden on the bottom left corner of the screen and you have to click a certain spot to get in. Once you are there, there is a hidden shop in the lower right corner of the room. The stairs lead to the Chamber of Knowledge in the Temple of Zios.
2. The Royal ridge shop is above the den shop in Coral canyons. You have to be a flying animal to get into the shop. 
3. In Tierney's aquarium, there is a passageway to Kani Cove. 
4. In the Sol arcade, there is a little alien that appears in the window sometimes.
5. In Tierney's aquarium, on the side, there is a little fish that follows your mouse around.

Tips

1. if you are playing sky high, always follow the clouds with gems.
2. If you are a wolf, there are wolf passages in Greely's inferno and the search for Greely
3. If you are a non-member, you can do adventures and get more.

My animal jam tribe.

I made an animal jam tribe a few days ago called the Tribe of Ancient Stones. I am the star-seer (leader and healer), Fox on the cliff. My tribe is inspired by warriors. my sister and a few friends are in it.
 My mom got me the entire harry potter series. I am reading every other book now. I am on the deathly hallows. I made my own wand

Swim Team today!

My school finally found a way to do swim team. We are pairing up with another school, North Heights, so that the people who like to swim, like me, can have a school team. Practice starts today! I am so exited!

Christmas!

     Hi again. I am going to be writing about Christmas. I got a lot of presents. I also got to play with my cousins. I also got three different Christmas parties. One at my house and one at each of my grandparent's houses. My favorite gift was a Harry Potter music book. I also got a lot of treats. One of my presents was an ugly sweater cookie kit. I used all the sprinkles. I got 12 pairs of Harry Potter socks. I think my sister likes her nerf crossbow a lot. Today is my first day of school after break.
