Minecraft Challenges

So, today I'm going to be writing about challenges you can do in Minecraft. Most of these are in survival

Hardcore challenge - this one's pretty self explanatory. you set your gamemode to hardcore and try to survive at least one day.

Nether challenge - start on creative, build a nether portal, and go instantly to survival mode, break everything, and try to get back to the overworld

Mountain challenge - this works well in worlds with mountains. Go to creative, fly to the top of a mountain, and change to survival. It is a challenge because supplies are limited on mountains, often having few trees.

Ender dragon - this one is very self-explanatory.

Things to do during quarantine

Almost everyone in the world is in quarantine right now, and probably bored out of their minds. That's why I found some things to do during quarantine.

1. Read books
1. Re-read some of the books you haven't read in a while. Maybe you'll notice something new about them!
2. Watch movies
1. Watch movies on Netflix, Hulu, or just any type!
3. Craft something
1. With so much time on your hands, you could make a masterpiece!
4. Do Art
1. Same as above, except 2 dimensional instead of 3
5. Go on a walk (away from other people)
1. Go on a walk into a forest or somewhere similar, where it's not as likely to see other people. Just don't get lost!
6. Look at quarantine memes!
1. No explanation needed
7. Play games
1. Any kind! Board games, video games, mind games, you name it!
8. Hang out with your family

Seeing Family

Earlier this week I saw both my uncles on my mom's side. They are both very fun to be around. I played harry potter trivia with my grandma and my mom, and beat both of them even though they made me answer two questions in a turn. There were only a few questions that I missed. I watched Prisoner of Azkaban with my sister afterwards. The next day we went to mocha monkey and then went home.

Camp Widjiwagan

Today I am going to go to Camp Widjiwagan with my classmates. Camp Widjiwagan is a camp that is close to the boundary waters. I am staying there the entire week and doing things with my classmates. I am going to be able to hike and maybe canoe, and do other outdoor things. On the way up to camp I am going to stop at Dairy Queen for lunch, and on the way back I am stopping at Little Caesars to get pizza. I hope to have an amazing time!

Camp Omega Cross Country

Last weekend I did cross country at Camp Omega. I ran 2 miles over large hills and muddy paths. It was extremely fun. I got 9th place. I might have run it in under 20 minutes, but no one told me my time. After that, my coach gave me some m&m's & a Gatorade.

Feed My Starving Children

On Saturday I had my birthday party at Feed My Starving Children. The entire group packed 101 boxes. We packed for about an hour and a half. I got a free t-shirt because it was my birthday. I also got to try some of the food. It tasted really good. I'm going back for my birthday next year.

B-day in 3 days

My Birthday is in three days! My mom says I don't have to have homeschool homework on my birthday. Every year on my birthday I get to stay up until 10:47. This year I will be 12! I am excited about my birthday because I get to go out to eat where I want. Next time I write on this blog, I will be 12! I am going to the Renaissance festival with my friend on Friday!

Feline Mask

I am working on a cat mask for art this week. It is a black cat with one green and one blue eye. I want to wear it for Halloween if I can. I already finished with the foam base, and am working on the fur. When it is finished, I will upload a picture onto my blog. Making the mask is very messy. There is a lot of fur on the ground and pieces of foam everywhere. I'm over halfway done.

Sleepover

I was at a sleepover last week at my friend Sylvia's house. I hadn't seen her in a while. We played a few games and watched videos together for a while. Sylvia is getting a new kitten! I think that her cat Onyx is going to like the new kitten, but I might be wrong. After that, I had my first skating lesson of the season at the Oval in Roseville.

First week of school

Today was my first week of 7th grade. I am still doing half-time home school. The subjects that I have at school are band, bells, science, choir, German, and art. My favorite subject is art. I got to have a pajama day yesterday because my principal is awesome! If you are Home-schooled, leave a comment below!

Art app : Ibis Paint x

Ibis Paint X is a free drawing app. It is very easy to use, and can produce amazing works of art. There are many brushes to choose from, and infinite colors. One of my favorite things on the app is the line stabilizer, which draws smoother lines, and makes your art look better. I use it to keep my digital art from looking like trash. I think it is really easy and fun to use. I would definitely recommend it.

Apollo 11

Happy 50th anniversary of Apollo 11! Last weekend I went to see one of the last film shows at the science museum before they switch to digital. I got to take a free piece of film home afterwards.  The movie was about the Apollo 11 mission. After that, I went to the Leonardo Da Vinci exhibit, which had a lot of copies of his inventions, like his flying machine. I liked it a lot. Bye for now!

Camp Omega

Last weekend I went to Camp Omega, a christian camp in Waterville. I did a lot of things there, like hatchet throwing and canoeing. My favorite thing was swimming. The first night, there was a bad storm and my entire cabin stayed up until around 2:00 in the morning. The second night, I twisted my ankle and got to ride in a trailer back to camp. After that, I got to sleep in a hammock. I liked camp a lot, and am going back next year.

Staying at my grandma's house

Last monday, i went to my grandma's house. We watched movies and did a puzzle together. We went swimming and went to the library together as well. I got back yesterday evening.

Germany part 4 : Kiara

Day 1: I am so excited to see Kiara! Today we went to Basteibrücke, and walked around there. It was very pretty, and I got to climb rocks around that area. We are staying at the four lions hostel.

Day 2 : Today we went to Konigstein fortress. Kiara and I went ahead to play for a little bit.

Day 3 : We walked a different trail to Basteibrücke. We also went to play at a little beach that Kiara found.

Day 4 : Kiara and I went to the woods by her house and built a fort. We stayed there nearly the entire day. We also saw a cat and called it Pumpkin Spice Latte.

Day 5 : We biked to a large park today. It had many ropes and bridges and a hamster wheel. We stayed there for a while and then we went back home. My friend and I went back to the fort and we saw that an area was roped off. Kiara went in and found an old object under a rock. She thought it was an old bomb. She called her dad who worked for the EOD. He said it might be. We also showed my parents a play that we made up.

Germany part 3 - Salzburg, München, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Nürnberg

Salzburg : We went to the Hohensalzburg fortress, where we saw the marionette museum. We didn't get to go far inside though. Then, my sister wanted to watch a trick bike competition. After that, we went to the Domgrabungs museum, and saw all the old church pieces that they excavated. After that, we saw Mirabell gardens, and we wandered around and found a playground. The last thing we did was Hellbrunn gardens, which was kind of pretty. There were a few fountains, and I found another playground.

München : In münchen, we first went to the Olympiastadion. I saw the eisarena, but it was closed and I didn't get to go inside. After that, we went to the Nymphenburg gardens. There were cool statues of greek gods and a huge fountain. After that, we wandered around a little behind the gardens. Then, we went to the old town, and watched the glockenspiel. The glockenspiel is really cool. Finally, we went to the English gardens. There were a few fountains, and a cool area on the river that people could surf on.

Garmisch-Partenkirchen : First, we took a cogwheel train up to Zugspitze. We got to climb a few rocks, and sled on a glacier. It got really foggy after that. We took a cable car up to zugspitze, but all we saw was fog and clouds. My family has bad luck with mountains and weather. After that, we went to Eibsee for a little bit, and stayed to watch the ducks by the bridge. Last, we went to Partnachklamm. It is a gorge where there is a natural tunnel near the river. I did not like that. It was too loud and cramped for me. Also, it kept dripping on me.

Nürnberg : Today, we went to Nürnberg and saw the old Nazi party grounds. We walked around the lake a little. After that, we walked around the old town a little, and saw someone playing a marimba. We also saw a living statue. I am currently on a train to Berlin to see my best friend. YAY!

camping trip

I went camping last weekend. When I was there, I went swimming. I went down to the lake every day. I liked it because I collected a lot of rocks. I also had a lot of tasty food, like s'mores, hot dogs,  & donuts. It rained for part of the day on Saturday. I got a book called 'mammals of Minnesota.' My sister got a harmonica. I saw a dead squirrel and 2 dead frogs, too.

I am writing a book

        I am writing a book. It is a Wings of Fire x Hunger games crossover. It is called the venom games. I am part way through the first part. I think it is cool. Anyway, that's all.

Last week of school

This week is my last week of school before summer break. I am so exited! That also means 1 week until I get a puppy! Everyone is exited for break. Only about a month until I get to go to Germany! Summer break is fun for me. I get to hang out too.

Getting ready for the new puppy!

    I am getting a golden retriever puppy on May 26. We already have a lot of things ready, like the crate and the food & water bowls. My dad showed me a video of the puppies playing, and they are so cute! I wanted to name the puppy we are getting 'Cinnamon', but my mom said no. I can't wait until we get the new puppy! It is a sister of my grandma's dogs.
