Play auditions (part 2)

On Friday, December 13, I had auditions for a play. I think my audition went well. For the audition, we had to say a monologue and sing a short song. I recited the prologue from beauty and the beast, and sang part of be prepared. My director said I'm probably going to be the mad hatter.

Christmas Concert

A few days ago was my school's Christmas concert. I did a lot of things, like sing in the choir, play bells, play my oboe, and I was one of the narrators in the play. I got to play an oboe solo on Joy to the World. it was going to be a duet, but the other person said they didn't want to. I also sang Twas' in the moon of wintertime for one of the prelude songs. Overall it went well, even though someone broke their wrist a few hours before.

Play Autitions

Earlier this week, my mom announced that my school is doing Alice in Wonderland for the spring musical. She said that anyone can audition, and I am going to audition. I picked two parts that I want-the mad hatter and the Cheshire cat. I think that both of them kind of fit my personality. I'd prefer to be the Cheshire cat.
